Data We Collect

GG Lemons collects: your email address and name when you create an account; VINs you search; and anonymized usage data via Google Analytics. We do not collect payment card details directly — payments are processed by Stripe.

How We Use It

Your email is used for account authentication only. VIN search history is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is never transmitted to our servers. Analytics data is used to improve the product.

Third-Party Services

We use: NHTSA public APIs (U.S. government data, no personal data sent); EPA FuelEconomy.gov API; Google Analytics 4; Google AdSense; Stripe for payments; Anthropic Claude API for AI analysis. VIN numbers are sent to these services only to retrieve vehicle data.

We use cookies for Google Analytics (with your consent) and to remember your preferences. You can decline analytics cookies at any time using the banner on this site.

Vehicle data is sourced from NHTSA public APIs. GG Lemons does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Recall and complaint data reflects the make/model/year, not necessarily this specific VIN. Market value estimates are models, not appraisals.

Patent Notice

The Production Band Scoring algorithm is covered by USPTO Provisional Patent Application No. 64/017,345 filed March 23, 2026. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use of this methodology is prohibited.
